Amanda Lucidon is photojournalist based in Washington, D.C., specializing in editorial, documentary and multimedia storytelling.
Amanda is the creator of LucidPix, an independent photography and multimedia company.
Before starting LucidPix, Amanda worked as a newspaper staff photographer for seven years. Recognizing the importance of multimedia storytelling, Amanda created her first audio slideshow in 2003. Since then, she has produced numerous award-winning multimedia productions.
Amanda’s photography and multimedia presentations have been recognized by the National Press Photographers Association Best of Photography contest, The White House News Photographers Association, Pictures of the Year International, the Associated Press, Press Photographers of the Greater Los Angeles Area and the California Press Photographers Association.
Amanda also teaches multimedia as an adjunct instructor at American University and the Corcoran College of Art and Design.
